Would you like to be more involved?

We want to create new opportunities for neighbors to connect with each other. Do you have ideas for events and/or would you like to help plan? We want to hear from you!

Friends of Thornton Heights meets the second Tuesday of every month (April through December) at Congregation Bet Ha’am from 7pm to 8pm. Everyone is welcome.

Congregation Bet Ha’am has generously allowed us to gather in one of their meeting spaces, and the entrance to the building can be found directly across from their parking lot, which is accessed from Braeburn Avenue.

For further information, we can be reached by emailing friendsofthorntonheights@gmail.com

Friends of Thornton Heights is a non-profit organization.

Thornton Heights is a very versatile neighborhood for our family.

We bought our first home here 7 years ago, and raised our two daughter’s here! One of which will start elementary school—right in our back yard! It’s super walkable, so many nice folks and convenient to both Portland and the beaches. What more could a family want!
